Ill let you know hendrixx, I have a super 44 on my truck now and it sounds sick already IMO. Ill try and post a sound clip whenever I finish my exhaust. My y pipe came in today, Im getting it put on tomorrow morning, and my headers are on the way I believe.

Borla would be my favorite with Magnaflow being a close 2nd.

hendrixx324, Headers and high flow exhaust on our trucks sound great.

I like how mine sounds a lot even though I do plan to get a magnaflow eventually. Borla would be even better but that price tags not too exciting. Do you think the y pipe and headers will make much difference in the sound though? Ive heard sound clips before but the quality wasnt very great plus they didnt have my muffler so I cant really compare.

I have had a magnaflow - good bang for your buck and easy installs are highly desirable these days to me. What kind of hp pickup could i expect from a magnaflow catback? Going to go browse them now. Are headers worth it? What kind of hp pickup there? Many Thanks

Not sure about the horsepower numbers on the cat back but I'm sure your truck would feel a little stouter maybe not much though. It would sound kick @$$ though! As far as the headers go yea Im sure theyre worth it. Im speaking from what I know about them I still havent got mine on yet but will let you know when I do. Shorties are the only style you can get for this motor though but they will free up a lot of air flow and let you use at least 15 hp or more. They dont create "hp" they just free it up basically.

Well I just got my y pipe put on and can tell it definitely flows better and has a little more power from dead stop but it threw a code and now my malfunction light is on. Is this normal? I need some help so please tell me what you think.

I have only experience with a Y pipe on my 1997 Maxima. Boy did it give an insane boost of power but it is almost too dirty...because of all the flow and heat mine would sound like bees in a can. Emissions lights were all on and I sold the old car prior to doing a MD state tail pipe sniff, confident it would not pass.

I believe I figured out why it keeps throwing a code. It ran a little rich when I first left the muffler shop because there was a leak in the exhaust (I made him fix it) and I think that running rich made my front o2 sensor to go out because its a p1053 code (bank 2 sensor 1 slow response). Im about to replace this and hope it fixes my problem.

I have been scouring the internet for the same but have found nothing compatible to this point. I may try a local exhaust shop to se what their catalogs show. I will let you know what I find.
