Don't be discouraged, once you get it working, you will be extremely satisfied.

Yeah I bought it new, I was reading their forum and I am not the only one having these problems. It seems like they have solved all the problems so I will remain hopeful. They should put a little note in the box explaining the possibilites of these problems because it is quite frustrating and time consuming.

Just to clarify, you installed the new superchips software on your pc (if so, what operating system?), then plugged in the tuner via USB, and it was giving errors updating through there? Ir did you take it out of the box and plug it into the truck?

I took it out of the box and hooked it up to my laptop running Vista and did the upgrade, all went well. Then went to put it in the car and it saved my factory tune, then told me to go upgrade again. Then when I hooked it back up to my laptop it would load for like 5 minutes then say that the port had timed out. I kept trying and it finally went through then said that my vehicle wasnt archived or whatever.

Default Got My Tune!

Just installed the 87 octane tune and WOW! What a difference! I really like the shifting and it turned of my check engine light. Loving it so far!
