Question Sound system help

I'm trying to put a system into my '05 Dakota. I like my factory head unit. I need information on how to wire it up. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!

Cool, another one. Us Jersey ppl are taking over this place one by one. Haha

Sorry tho, can't help out with the system. Never upgraded mine, but there are quite a few guys on here who have that can probably give some advice.

Anyway, welcome to our little corner of hell.

I have the 6 CD stock head unit. you will need a converter for sub outs to plug in. and just changing the speakers will make a huge difference in sound. I decieded not to amp my speakers due to i have never been listening to my music and said wow i wish it would go louder. but hey that just me

I want to put an amp and a 12inch sub in the truck. I have a single cd factory head unit. I have a quad cab and took out the smaller side of the split bench seat in the back to make room. I'm not looking to change out my speakers at this time. I just need info about how and what I need to do in order to get a sub and amp in there. Thanks
