Default Yet another tire question

Would it be possiable to run 285/70r16s there only 31.89 inches and i have seen people on here running a 285 wide tire with minor rub

I have 285/50/20's on, and that is 31.2". I tell you, it's real close to the splash guards on the front tires and the front fascia. You may be in for some real trimming with 31.9 tires. Hope this helps.

All tire brands are diffrent sizes when it comes to like 285. like i think cooper AT 285 are closere to 33 inches. my friend had 285s on his ram and we measured them at 32.5 inches.

a 285/70r16 is one inch shorther than a 285/75r16 i was wondering if the width would clear not the height

That wide tire will probably swing into the front fascia, and definitely into the splash guard. I think you will need to trim with that size. Good Luck.
