Back - (and yes in black too!)
Well after about 4 months of paying-off bills and re-arranging things (as well as some interesting adventures in trying to buy a used diesel Liberty that resulted in returning it to the dealership with smoke billowing from the engine) I did a LOT of thinking and decided to stick with Daks. So I went down to one of my local dealerships and picked up a 2010 Dak. Pretty nice one, it is the Bighorn/Lonestart crew cab 4x4 with tow package, limited slip, 3.92 axle gears and the 4.7 - in black (I kind of liked the grey I had before, but black is nice as long as I keep it clean.)
I am now REALLY glad noone asked to buy my old tonneau cover too! This one came with one of those plastic bedliners and the tie-down bars, so my first mod will be to remove those and put the tonneau on and take it to the local Line-X dealer. Anyone have any expereince removing them? It looks like the liner is held in place with 2 screws and the tie-down bars have maybe 4 or 6 bolts to hold them on?
