Default LED Signals on Mirrors

so this is the latest thing ive done, crap quality pics from my phone, left my camera at home and im at college

I need some assistance in rewiring it.
Currently it is wired to the turn signals in the front.
on the turn signal there are three wires, (one pos constant on when lights are on to provide the amber, one pos for signal flashing, one ground)

ive currently wired the led's to constant on on each side because i like them always on, is their anyway i can also make it flash on whichever side when i signal?
the led light only has 2 wires, on pos and one neg.

I have, it flashes then, but its not always on. I want it to be always on, and then when the flasher signal comes in, i want that side to blink

Not giving it much thought, I think a basic SPDT - 5 way relay is the answer. I would have to sit done and map it out to verify that, but Like I said its a guess

Here is anohter pic for anyone that likes the ideas.
the amber led's are the same as the white under the headlights. from autozone 20$

Is it legal to have these on while driving at night? I know amber was allowed, but idk if they are too much
