so did you hafta replace it all or did just change a fuse

A wiring harness from the PCM going into the fuse box was never fully seated when it left the factory. All they did was pop it back into place. I will admit, it scared the crap out of me. No display, gauges, and both power steering and brakes were gone all at the same time, lol.

your telling me scary i was doing 110kph which (works out to roughly 60mph i think im not to good at conversions lol) on the high way.. my breaks never went on me though... jjust checked what i could see every thing seems tight but its dark here now so its kinda tough to see anything... prolly a reduntent questiion but did you get any CEL or a code

i have had this happen to me a few times. only happens to me after i hit a really rutted dirt road or hit the "wake me up bumps" on the side of the highway. My steering is very very tight for a bit until i fight the wheel and get it to turn all the way then it loosens back up like nothing happened. I have not fixed it because i never really figured out what was wrong!

yeah haven't had a problem since and I was cruising down a couple of wash board roads yesterday after it happened. never came back when it did happen I was on a highway no bumps IDK

Yes and i ment when i hit a big pedal i cant multi task and i was talking to someone about a pot hole hahah
