I decided Im doing an E-fan by the end of the summer. The throttle body can wait, as I hear its not really for HP because our 4.7l are speed densisty systems, its more for throttle response. Id rather have an E-fan anyways. You only live once, but when the time comes Im sure I will be here asking questions. Thanks alot guys for your help!

To finish my intake is about $160
A throttle body would be $190 after the core return
And an Efan can be done for under $100-$200

So bringing up the throttle body topic again, what would a ported and polished TB do for our trucks? Is it something that is worth it to buy one or would it be better to do a TB bore?

Interesting. I was asking because theres a 4.7l throttle body thats ported/polished that I could get for about $80 and I was wondering if I should buy it or not. I dont really want to spend $190 on a fastman, but if thats what it takes to get the real deal thats what I will spend.
