Each programmer logs the first vehicle it is connected to as the "Warranty Vehicle".
The warranty vehicle would have to be returned to "Stock" prior to trying on another vehicle.
The unit will Not program multiple vehicles at the same time.

Factory Direct Limited Lifetime Warranty


All Hypertech Power Tuning Products are warranted* against defects in materials or workmanship. Hypertech’s liability under this warranty shall be limited to the prompt correction or replacement of any defective part of the product which HYPERTECH determines to be necessary. This Limited Lifetime Warranty is to the original purchaser for as long as he or she owns the vehicle on which the product is originally installed, providing all the information requested is furnished. You must retain a copy of your original sales invoice or receipt. Without proper documentation, a service fee will be applied. Resold units are NOT covered under this warranty.

Think of it this way.

Take your superchips programmer and do a trans only tune. You tune the transmission and the only file changed is for the tranny. Your superchips programmer is now locked to your vehical with the stock files saved from the transmission.

Then, you take a Hypertech programmer and tune it to gain your 40+ HP using premium fuel. The programmer tunes the engine changing the files used for the ECM. The Hypertech programmer is then locked to the same vehical with the stock files saved from the engine.

The logic is there, you just have to be careful when tuning your truck back to stock. Or, if you want to change the transmission tuning, you have to remove the other programmer, tune the tranny, and then reinstall the other programmer.

This is interesting. Im curious at how much HP they can gain from the 05-06 Dakotas.
