Default Performance Upgrades

I'm sure there are bits and pieces of these all over the board, but lets get them in one spot. I'm trying to get some more power out of my 4.7. I'd like some help with options.

Here's what I have: Intake, cat back, fastman tb, superchip, e-fan.

I'm looking at getting the H/O cams and intake manifold. Is there a better place to get those other than the dealer? And will the tb bolt right up? (no adapter or anything) I'm also looking at the asp underdrive pulley.

Any other easy upgrades?

If youre doing cams youll have to ditch the superchips and get an SCT with a custom tune.
You can get the HO Cams from www.airram.com for $399.
If youre asking if your fastman will bolt right up, it should. 3 bolts to remove the old, change out the sensors and bolt the new one on.

One upgrade I would look at doing if I had the money would be the 2008+ intake manifold. Its also on airram.com .... but its too pricey for me.

looks like you need the adapter plate ($300 (more than the intake manifold ($250))) to make the tb work.

Thats why it was too much for me. Its supposed to flow much better than our 05-07 manifolds though. If anything sell your fastman (Youll get close to what you paid for it) and get a 2008 TB with the 2008 manifold. But youll probably want that SCT to tune for the added flow.

i havent heard the h/o valve springs being necessary in other posts, but airram makes it look like you need them for the h/o cams.

The cams will work just fine with a superchips tune or no tune at all, you just wont actually gain the HP until you have a custom tune. Atleast thats what they say.
sdtalon, I thought it said it recommends you change your worn ones. Airram is definetly the guy to go to for 4.7 performance though. His 4.7 ram is FAST.

get a 2008 TB with the 2008 manifold
the 08+ engines are "drive by wire" so you would have to run the adapter for your TB, i dont think there is anyway around it for now, but for $300 thats one more thing i might look into making, for less $$$ of coarse
