i dont think it will ever happen.... i did some looking at mine a couple weeks ago, i was going to start on a lift untill i went over all of the componets... the upper a-arms cannot be relocated down with out widning the suspention, withch would mean longer c/v's and tire/wheel fitment issues, so it really needs a custom spindle, the steering rack is sunk into the frame, so with out having a rediculas 8-10" lift, you would have to cut and weld on the frame, the diff will interfear with the frame, crossmember, and the rear mounts for the lower a-arms, so will require frame modification, cutting and welding, and could probably never be just a bolt in lift, so all around is going to cost a lot of $$$ either way, for most it would probably exceed 1/2 the value of the truck, if a lift is really nessasary, it would be a lot cheaper and eaiser to do a SAS, im still willing to do one if some one brings me a truck and a little cash...
im extreamly intrested in a suspension lift for my dakota my name is jameson claypool add me to the list. i have called all the big name suspension people and requested a lift and had no such luck.
