to not have to deal with all the wiring u can just get leds that mount in place where the stock ones did
got mine from http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-b...ini-wedge.html
the 2nd gens use the 194 bulb, its prolly the same for the 3rds

check ur owners manual, it'll have the type of bulb required, prolly the 194s tho, u will also have to order the bases as well tho, i recommend spending the extra money and get the brighter leds

The site I use is superlumination for order they have a huge selection of bulbs led and regular.

One other thought before you do the guage cluster is to check to see if its electro luminesant or not. if it is the the whole thing lights up and doesn't contain a bulb to light up all the guages. For the WJ i had there was EL and regular so it doesmake a difference

if they are the same bulb as mine i ordered the WLEDxHP5 bulb and the T10-TW twist sockets, u will have to tear apart ur dash to see how many u need

EDIT: the ones behind my ac controls WERE a DIFFERENT size, they were the really tiny ones that come as one peace so u dont need the sockets, the ones i just gave u the name of were for behind the instrument cluster
i believe hte ones behind my ac controls were the NEO5 series

To wire in lights under dash, im assuming your talking about the feet areas and under middle

Theirs a small light under the center console, i cut that light out basically and use the wiring from that and tapped into it and split it up. i run all 5 of my led strips (front left, right, rear left, right and center) on it..
