I did the 4.56 conversion before, its a leap of faith you have to do.

 

I wish I had seen this thread earlier... WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!?! I can find a very good writeup on 4.56 gears for dakotas if you want, but basically with that size tire, a v6, and simply the ABILITY to do it should be enough motive to get those babies. Your RPMs will be fine, gas mileage will scientifically (proven) be better, and your seat of the pants feeling will be off the charts.
Also, I will punch you in the face if you don't do it.

trucky im not sure whether if it was the threat to punch me in the face or the threat to punch me in the face, but im gonna go for it. just have to wait another week for my grad party for the last of the funds
