Default I got an answer, and i got a queston

So earlier people were asking if 15 inch rims fit. Well the answer is sorta...
Heres a few pictures

Ok so my queston is, if i shave my caliper on the 3 parts sticking out the most by just fractions of an ich they will fit. WOuld that be ok to do?

well my main reason is that i have a bunch of friends and we have quite a collection of tires and they all have chevys and that meens i can use there tires. but also geting tires for 15 inch rims are cheaper than 16

also on a 15" rim when you air down you gain more side wall tread and more floatation. its a 4 wheeler thing sorry hendrixx I don't have an answer for you on this but I was wondering the same

I got an answer!.. this is a popular thing to do to a second gen ram guy. my friend bought them for his ram but blew it up and got a chevy so those 15s are mine now =]

I understand the temptation, since it opens up a huge market of tires, but, is it really worth all that effort? Shaving your calipers? I wouldnt.

not really there are count less reasons not to do it, if he is only trying to save on tire cost because rim size????

i did it to fit racing wheels and slicks on my car trans am gta have 16''
i fit 15'' for a bigger sidewall and cheaper tires. yes its im happy you should do it. just be sure to put paint or mecanic blue and grind just what part rub against the wheels not more!

and dont plan on balancing them via sticky weights on the inside. they will get destroyed...or destroy the caliper.
