Default update for 3.7L unichip!

Hey guys, talked to unichip and he needs a picture of my ECM (Harness) Am I looking at the right thing? There is a metal box in the engine compartment that has about 4 or 5 plugs hooked to it on the pass side firewall. If this isnt it where is it? We may be able to get a plug and play tuner for the 3.7 out of this!

Ozone, post a picture of what you are describing and you will get a more definite answer.

ok KS Cowboy, The chip alone is $295 the kit is 595. I will give you the link. Good luck, site is kinda funky as far as navigation.

" Also what does your ECM plug look like, If you can take a picture of the back side of the ecm and send it to me? We can make you a wiring diagram, sell you a unichip, tuning pots, and software and you can tune it yourself, or what area are you in? we have tuners all over the USA. Go to www.unichip.us and go into the tuner section to see our prices. With proper tuning on a dyno you can see about 20 hp increase and 20 ft lbs of torque, but remember every car acts differently. I will look into your ecm if you are really interested" This is a quote from our email message.

Here is the link http://www.unichip.us/

Question HP increase/tuner?

Just out of curiosity, what kind of hp gains have you 4.7 guys seen from the other tuners (diablo, superchips, etc)?

Is 20-30hp worth $500?

Unhappy

Talked to TD performance today. He said $600-700 for chip, install, and tuning, and he would be surprised if I were to get 20hp. Basically on the 3.7 its not worth it. Guess I will do an E-Fan next.
