Default Another, (yawn) E-fan question

OK. This extra hot summer has convinced me to really consider an E-Fan. My questions are, what is the biggest cfm/size single fan for the 4.7? And who sells it? thanks.

Flexalite Black Magic series move alot of air, the 188 moves 3,300 cfm.

There is also the Chevy HHR fan that pushes around 3000 cfm.

I am thinking that you should go with the 3300cfm fan for your hotter weather. This weekend took a trip across a couple mountain passes with the new efan I just put in. Supposed to be 2500cfm. Pushing it hard up some of the hills, keeping up with the old mans cummins, temps were running up there a bit on the temp gage(between the 1/2 line and the top black line) and it was not even warm out. Out door temp was in the mid to high teens *C or in the 60's *F most of the day. I know when we do get warm here and I start pulling my trailer, the fan will not keep up it seems. I might have to go to a larger CFM fan.

3300 cfm Flex-a-Lite in my Ram. Have pulled a 7700# tractor with my truck in the hot south Georgia summer and not had my gauge reach the half way mark...

Also not a bad idea to go to a lower temp thermostat. IMO the cooler the engine temp is when the thermostat opens and lets coolant in, the bigger jump you have on keeping the engine temp cooler...
