Will this work for a power wire?

Its off the stock air hat. A gray plug I believe, not part of the throttle body itself.

The IAT is reading a little more than 25 degrees cooler with the resistor installed. The reading on the meter before I installed it was 4.58k ohms with the connectors installed on the resistor.

One question though; do I also want to install a resistor on the ambient air temp sensor? I only ask because wont the truck recognize that the ambient air temp is too close or more than the IAT?
