I got my Nite shade at Meijer... its a semi-local store... but I have seen it at Advanced, and Sherwin williams.

heres my tails and 3rd brake light.

Michigan doesn't have inspections. What would they be looking for that wouldnt cut it with nite shades on? they still reflect light from the reflectors. the bulbs are dimmer, but still very visible. I have followed mine a couple times while Jess was driving it, and the tails look just fine to me.

What do they look for in the inspections?

If I remember tomorrow, and its not raining, I will try to snag a pic of what the brake lights look like.

I got pulled over the other day (no ticket thank God) and he complimented my truck even with tinted windows and tails, so I think I'm good.

For fishtailing, I told him I wasn't used to the extra power from my cams and torque converter and then he was only interested in my truck.

lol that was pretty cool of him to cut you some slack and that he was interested in your truck! Especially since that probably would of been a pretty pricey ticket. Back to the night shade topic I am going to run down and get a bottle of it and some clear and try to make it some what shiny. I will practice first on the 3rd tail light this weekend. I really like how the guy in the link below got his gto tail lights.
