Unhappy 2010 Headlights?!****#

Hi:
I own a 2010 crewcab, and at night is a nightmare because even with the fogs lights on is not too much visibility.
And when the high beams are on, the fogs lights turn off and is worst, to be honest the visibility is less.
Is there a kit to keep the fog lights on when the high bean is on?
Any advice to have better visibility with this OEM headlights?
I don't want to put HID yet so and other alternatives?
Our trucks have this problem for time ago or is just mine?
I was thinking in buy new bulbs but I'm not convince it will resolve my problem.

Thanks for any advice...

Victor

Hi:

Thanks for answer, what I have seen is my headlights just have one beam.
All other years like yours have 2 beams!

Is no kit available for my truck to keep all beams on, on high position?
My last truck was a chevy and I have this kit installed! works fine.

hidextra.com is a sponsor of DF and they run a special with HID kits for $60 shipped. So for $120 you can get your fogs and headlights in HID. For a little more, you can get bi-xenon for your headlights. They are in the sponsor section in the classifieds.

sounds like you don't have your lights aimed properly. The Silverstars are a big improvement over stock, but even with them or HID's if not pointing right, they won't help. PIAA's also make a bright bulb. I have them but also have projectors. not sure they make them for the stock housing.

$0.02 fix, get a rubberband and get it tied to your hi-beam lever and pull it back just before it actually clicks your fog lights off. tie that rubberband to the steering wheel!

voila! fixed. now you have your brights on with your foglights! lol.

Dont laugh .... that is a fix! The fog lights dont turn off with your brights on until you let go of the lever.

actually, the 08+ trucks dont do that anymore, they will flash all beams for a split second but wont stay on, my lights are awsome, i wonder if you may just need to get them aimed, do you have a leveling kit installed? other wise you may have an electrical issue somewhere like bad grounds, if you have some electrical knowlegde, i can tell you how to wire the fogs to stay on with the highs without throwing a CEL, but ist a little bit of a pain
