Seat Belt Chime
i have an 04 hemi
there is an instruction in the manual to turn it off but it doenst work, the factory disable the turn off sequence (i checked with the dealer AND chrysler customer service)
the customer service rep at chrysler however did say the tech told him that it is simple a wire that need unplugged or cut under the sterring wheel
can anybody help ?
also what other forums are there for dodge, would like to try those too

Have you looked under the seat to see if any wires have shorted out? If the light wont go out, its probably the switch in the buckle isnt functioning. If that switch doesnt work, you wont be able to turn off the chime as you need to click and unclick the seat belt 3 times I believe. If the seat belt light doesnt go off, that means the computer never sees the seat belt as "clicked"
First, check for a broken wire or loose plug under the seat. They come loose sometimes when you move the seat back and forth.
