Default Help with Amp and Subwoofer connections

I have the stock headunit and speakers and I'm trying to install an amp and subwoofer. Where is the stock amp at? Where are my hookups for the audio input and remote power turn on?

If you are asking where the stock amp is, I assume you have the Infinity sound system. The amp is located under the rear drivers side seat on the quad cab. There is another post on here about someone trying to install an aftermarket amp. Not sure if an aftermarket amp is plug and play.

might not have rca's on the stock head unit or remote wire....you couldddddddd

set up highpower to and amp tho.

-find a switched power wire for your amp(for when you turn key on sends 12v)
-wire a jumper before a main speaker wire to your amp's input(acts as the rca's would)

all amps can be differnt tho...may not all work

i sugest not doing it tho....much easier to buy an aftermarket head unit for heck 85 at wallymart? lol

gets rid of the hassel and the risk of messing things up like spiking your altinator or somthing
