These are for the Dodge Dakota, 05+

Monroes website now states they are for the 3rd gen dakota only. They are also showing up on most auto part websites as well.

Is this the part # that doesn't work??

Wasn't there some sort of issue with a set of the load levelers not being the correct part...or is this a new part #?

I need a pair of these. My pops got em on his ranger and they work excellent with his small trailer for his quads.

 

Monroe's website lists these as for the 05-07 Dakota 4wd. Rock Auto has them for $95 each. for 4wd only. Don't know what the difference is in the rear suspensions between 2wd and 4wd, but both sites specify 4wd only for this part#.

 

Yeah there the same for 4 wheel and 2 wheel. They most likely just test fitted them on a 4x4.

There is no real difference between the 2 wheel and 4 wheel drive shocks and struts.

I remember a few years back on this forum, someone said the load levelers listed for the 05 to 07 dakota were actually for a nissan suv, and monroe made a mistake...I was just trying to confirm whether or not these were actually for our trucks.
