Default Rear Diff cover

SO I have been looking around for a rear diff cover and came across these. A little pricey but cool....

Those are nice. However, between my installation of an E-fan, brand new tires for my Polaris 550 and Hella lights...The well is dry for a while.

So, paint it. Can of Duplicolor caliper paint was all of $5.

Nothing wrong with Originality. Spray paint mods help the budget but being unique is priceless.

No, I agree they are a good find, but my post was directed in response to the gentleman who said he did not have the money for such a cover.
I actually have a chrome diff cover new in the box in my garage, but only had about 6k miles on my diff fluid when I bought it. I'm too cheap to buy diff fluid so soon and at the rate I put miles on my truck (about 8k a year) it would be a few years till I need to pop the pumpkin open, so I painted it for now. Might take the fancy stainless, allen head, knurled bolts from it though and put them on.

No offense, but anybody can slap down a credit card and buy mods. I kinda like the ones that are done by hand.

These weren't bought. Personally, I take a lot of pride in making my own mods and I especially like to look at other trucks with "personal touches" done to them...

I Agree 100% i mean i see alot of things and i'm like DANG thats tight but i know in the back of my mind that they just paid someone to do it! I mean my knowledge of mechanics and lack of tools holds me back alot from doing it! But i like when i can do things by hand by myself! No argument on that part!
