i come back stateside hopefully if my curtailment goes through on December 13th and have to report to Fort Hood by the 6th of January! Then Deploying to Iraq for 9 months for Construction work pretty much!

well i appreciate your appreciation! to me its just a job...didn't take it to be like look at me im a hero bow down. did it just cause its the right thing to do...serve if you can and thats what i'm doing! So i mean no thanks required but shoot...now i can't die over there! i have to come back and out mod everybody on this site...(except for blown of course wouldn't want him to not help me with my truck! lol) But hopefully in the future i get to meet some of yall at shows or what not! would be good to put faces to these internet forum!

 

man that wouold be a cool thing to do, have some big Dakota meet somewhere, camp out, have a few beers...but jeesh everyone is from all over....that would be a tough one to pull off. We need to do a poll of where everyone is currently residing so we have an idea of where the greatest concentration of Dakota owners/DF forum members are..or maybe a combined Ram/Dakota thing, or just a general Mopar one to get more interest and participation.

 

Dang man I deployed for 6 months and felt detached from the world I don't see how you non-Air Force people do it... of course construction is probably more fun than flying, you get to play with big toys and dirt! Our dirt boys have a patch that says 'Construction dudes; Hammer, nut, then bolt' pretty funny if you catch the drift. Any way be safe and come back to spend your money on the truck like I did!

It is hard not having a golf course, water polo and such but we manage
