Tires could be out of balance. Did this happen all at once? Maybe you lost a wheel weight or one shifted. My truck is doing the same thing. My brakes worked fine stopped great with no shudder. I ordered 4 new tires online, and 2 came on a Friday. Had those installed on the front at walmart, no problems. The other two came on monday and I had those installed on the rear and now I get shuddering when breaking. So I am hoping and thinking that if I have them rebalance the rear tires my problem should go away.
