Default Headlight painting

I want to paint my headlights finally but I have NO IDEA how to get that clear plastic cover off so I can do the detailing.... Anyone know how?

This picture is from 3 YEARS ago it shows what I want to do. The grille is already black by the way haha.

Wow where have you been trucky? I havent seen you in a long time. But if thats what you want to do, then why dont you just get a pair of night runner headlights? thats pretty much what they are...

Heres a pic!

Awesome that's what I heard, wasn't sure if it was the only way haha.

SnipeySnipe: I would get nightrunner headlights but they are too expensive compared to a can of paint and a few hours. Same reason I coated my rims/grille black... and they look superb. p.s. been in Qatar dog

I had just thought about doing this but getting paint mixed to match the body color so it would match and not be some of the only black i have
