Default what size tires should i get

I have a 2003 dodge dakota sxt. Right now it is stock lift. but in the future i am looking at putting a body lift on but it might not happen. so whats the biggest tires i should get. I was thinking 31s or 33s. But i am worrying about rubbing inside the tire well. what do you think

My truck is stock and I run 31's with no rub at all. I don't think there is room for the 33's

I believe the 2nd gens have a higher front end than the 3rd gens .... atleast the ones that I always see. Maybe they have leveling kits. Either way, you may want to ask this question in the 2nd gen Dakota section; they will be able to give you a more accurate answer. By the looks of it, you probably will be able to fit a larger tire on your stock 2003 than we can on our stock 2005-2010s.

I had a 2000 Dakota before and I was able to fit 32.5" tall tires stock. I have heard you can fit 33" with no rub if you crank the torsion bars.

i had 31/10.5's on my 98'

they were a set of cooper atr's they fit really well as a stock tire...im sure you could fit a 32/12.50 tire on with a torsion bar raise,33's it be wise to put that body lift on and a torsion lift.
