Yeah, I did the crimping and put cold weather electrical tape over the ones that have worked. At least they're covered and in place. It may be a better idea to shrink wrap them once I get the "unhappy" bulb figured out.

Any thoughts on something like liquid electrical tape or that 2-sided electrical tape that also seals out moisture for low-voltage stuff to cover the quick M-F disconnects or is shrink wrap still the best bet?

Swapped the bulbs out - worked in the other light. Gotta go back over the wiring. I guess I'll be acquiring a 12v circuit tester soon...

You got to have a bad connection someplace between that light and wherever you met power wire to the other light. Either that or that light ain't grounded...

basic thing to have for any electrical work, either a test light or a cheap digital multimeter (dvm) from radio shack, or somewhere, heck, even walmart sells them nowadays. If one light works from the switch, you know that you have wired the circuit up correctly, i.e. a change in the switch state (on/off) equals a change in light state (on/off), so now you need to trace the wiring and find out where you are losing the 12 volts to the light that does not work. Check all your connections. Normally in these types of circuits, the main 12 volts coming from the switch or relay (depending on how you wired the circuit) will be "T"'d, so 12 volts will go to two lights from one source....start tracing, measuring and troubleshooting...

Yeah, the issue has got to be between the splice connector and the light. Either the wiring from the connector to the light or the ground itself. Thanks for all the hints. Gotta keep digging.

Got some new info: took the truck in for an oil change today and asked my local guys to check it out. They told me I've got power running to the ground on the one light as well as the wiring to the bulb. How does that happen? I've got both lights grounded to the bolts for the hood latch. I'm going to double check the schematic, but my guy told me it may be an issue in the relay. Any other thoughts?
