I purchased mine from the dealer $100 for the pair. As far as the bushings go, I'm sure someone could use a set of poly bushings. Just measure the i.d., o.d., and thickness.

sounds like these end links should be classified as a "wear" item because it's not a matter of if they will break but when they will break....lol...why couldn't you use a universal end link? As long as the length was right, would it matter? Like these for example:

As long as they pivot on the bottom, there shouldnt be any trouble. Just finding one that fits, and then you still may have to modify the holes if you cant get the bolt sizes to match up.

Smile Rattle Noise in the front end.

Hey guys, this may be a dumb question lol...... and have seen it a lot in other posts. But have been having an ongoing issue with a rattle out of my front driver side wheel well. I have taken it to multiple mechanics and they can't find crap with it. But when it happens is when I go over bumps and when I turn.

When it's very noticeable is when I am on a consistent bumps to going over very lite bumps and turning. And also when I put my breaks on.

I had the sway bar bushings replaced, swar bar links replaced last april 2010 and the outter tie rod ends (with aftermarket life time warranty ones). I am stuck to as of what this could be. I have been thinking maybe ball joints but hearing confusing answers doesn't help lol..... Do you guys think it's the new mopar sway bar links gone bad this early????

Appreciate any advice on this.

Welcome to the forum and NICE TRUCK! I love the yellow! Is it a 4x4? Could be a bad axle joint...

Thanks.... There is not a lot of yellow dakota's where I am. So it's pretty easy to spot if parking in a parking lot lol. And to answer your question no it is not. I wish it is but no need for the 4x4 option right now. Will take a look at it when I can. Any other thoughts of what it may be as I will check those too.

Have you checked to see if the battery is secured down? Sounds silly, but its possible.

And did you have the bushings replaced on the actual bar, or just the bushings that are the top of the links. I did the bushings on my links, and now the bushings on the bar are bad so its making noise again.

That yellow truck is downright sexy btw!
