hahaha nice...but honestly i had a V6 3.9L 1996 Dakota and i had a Flowmaster 40 series with 3" pipe after the muffler and 3.5in tips and that sounded better then my V8 now but it was just loud not deep and throaty! Never have since then liked a sound from a V6 Dakota with an Exhaust..its like yeah okay it sounds deep but listen to this VRHHMMMMMMM

BW, I can't really say that I like the sound. The PA speaker....so, is there a practicle reason for this? I'm honestly asking because I have no idea what that would be for...other than "shock value". But, there "could" be a practicle reason for it, I guess.

I think that video of the Dak with the 50 series flowmaster is a good sound. I would like to hear the differences between the 40s, and 50s, and stock. I can't decide what exhaust to get for my 3.7L...I'm so torn: 40s = loud, sounds sweet, great HP and TQ increase, droning mess while driving vs. 50s = semi loud, sounds better than stock, moderate HP and TQ increase, little droning and keeping my sanity while on long drives. As far as long drives go, I suppose that as long as I have a fresh can of Cope, a couple of Dr. Peppers, and a destination, I should be fine....but you never know.

........decisions, decisions.

You would be happier with the 50 series. If I was younger I would have kept my super 44, but time has caught up with me I guess and it was just too loud and annoying (I commute 50 miles each day). I got a magnaflow, but even that is starting to get annoying when cruising at 65-70. So my next step will be back to flowmaster and probably the 50 series delta flow. And to think I used to run straight through pipes on my Camaro in high school.....no converters or nothing....haha

Thats the way the Talon is, 3" pipe from the turbo to the rear...no cats...a 18" glass pack, which is getting removed shortly. And to think, it used to be my DD....

When I was posting up a v6 muffler video in this thread the flowmaster 40's didn't sound so great. I think for a v6 50 series is the way to go so you don't sound ridiculous.
