Help asap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OK here is my issue.
I get into the truck tonight to go down the road to test the mods i've done on the ports for my sub box *2 18's in a wall in my club cab) and my seat belt is connected and hooked up like it always is when I drive down the road.
problem is, EVEN WHEN MY SEATBELT IS CONNECTED the computer doesn't recognize it. and its DINGING like every 3 seconds while I drive, its ANNOYING.
anyone know how to bypass the sensor? or how to fix the issue, I tried removing the seatbelt, and reconnecting it mulitple times, its still creating the same results.
so I think i broke the sensor with all my bass...
so, anyone know how to bypas it or at least get rid of the chime?

i found this about a '10 ram seatbelt sensor(may be similar for a dakota)...but i think its in the owners manual???
Check in your owners manual for instructions to deactivate the active seat belt alert system.
The steps below may work.
The Enhanced Warning System (BeltAlert) can be enabled
or disabled by your authorized dealer or by
following these steps:
NOTE: The following steps must occur within the first
60 seconds of the ignition switch being turned to the ON
or START position. DaimlerChrysler does not recommend
deactivating the Enhanced Warning System
(BeltAlert).
1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position and
buckle the driver's seat belt.
2. Start the engine and wait for the Seat Belt Warning
Light to turn off.
3. Within 60 seconds of starting the vehicle, unbuckle
and then re-buckle the driver's seat belt at least three
times within 10 seconds, ending with the seat belt
buckled.
NOTE: Watch for the Seat BeltWarning Light to turn on
while unbuckling and off while re-buckling the seat belt.
It may be necessary to retract the seat belt.

hsaha 2 18's in a wall on 3000 watts cont power atm, will be 8000 rms soon, does a 156.7 at the headrest. but thats right at the port as well.
ended up putting ajumper wire in the factory harness for now. fixed the problem.
I took the harness and disconnected it from under the seat, and put some 18 ga. primary wire in each pin location, and soderded it together.
took care of that problem,
i've caused fires inside the dash with bass. Like the remote little pack that comes with the wiring harness for an aftermarket wiring harness fromb est buy. that looks like a grey battery box for the 12 volt switch source, has a processor in it. And... lets just say that it doesn't like 150's lol. it shorted and got white hot and burnt the entire harness..lol
its alot of fun having a truck that electronically falls apart with such little bass... ughhh lmao!
took the truck out after fixing the issue, and lets just say.... my ears are hearing some loud bass man. its CRAZY!
did some metering does consistant 50's on music on the dash, does a 154 at the ear lvl. but considering its only about 6 inchs from the port.. its not 2 loud lol.
but... at full power should be great!.
my alt gets here tomorrow! so EXCITED!
