Default Anything unusual involved in replacing 3.7 motor???

has anyone had to change a 3.7 in their Dakota? Anything strange about mating the trans to the swapped engine?
I searched this site for about an hour to find particular info about replacing the 3.7 in a 2006 Dakota and could not find anything. I plan on replacing a 3.7 on a 2WD auto dakota and a mechanic told me that there is something strange and difficult when it comes to the transmission when replacing this motor.
I have not worked on this truck before, but have replaced several engines and transmissions on other RWD trucks and cannot think of anything that would warrant the mechanic charging an extra $1000 to do this swap vs a 'normal' truck engine swap.

ANY insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!
