The ebay link is for a RAM lowering shackle and I didn't find anything on their web site for the Dakota. Is the RAM shackle the correct one for our trucks ?
oh sorry i forgot to clarify yeah they seller said it was the same one and it fit for sure. this is the exact one i ordered. it may actually be the same shackle. I actually sent the seller an email to confirm and he said that this was the one.

Did the ones you bought have two holes in the top like the ones pictured?
I'm asking cause I'm not sure I need the full 2" drop to level it out, but if its adjustable for either 1 or 2" that would be perfect.
i had a look see at my spring bolts tonight to soak them real good with pb blaster....funny thing, there is no rust on them at all....I don't know how I can have rust on interior parts and not on obvious rust producing areas....so weird....cheeseburger, sis you use the top two holes for the max drop?

yup it sat the back down real nice. yesterday i parked next to a stock 09 dakota at school and the top of my back bumper was about 4 inches lower than theirs. or about that anyway. to see if i liked the way it would look i filled up a trash can and a 50 gallon drum full of water and set them on the tailgate.
