Going to put some new struts on my 05 Dak. Not sure if i should go with the Monroe sensa tracks or the Ranchos. Looking for the best ride possible. Which way should i go ?? Dave

I personaly think the Ranchos have a great ride at least much better than the stocks. I have the Monroe sensa tracks on my Toyota and I am not that impressed, but I have like 8,000 other things work with that truck which effect the ride quality.

I've heard the Ranchos are a little stiffer than the Monroes. There are quite a few of us that have the Ranchos and love them, get them and you'll be extremely happy.

Front struts part #RS5757.

Here's another recent thread about struts that you can read.

sensitracks have diferent dampning at different shock hights as do the stocks. If you have a levelling kit get the Ranchos, actually just get them anyway, then your truck will handel instead of bounce....

Single best modification I have done to my truck. You wont be sorry!

This past weekend i put new Monroe Sensatrac struts on, Great ride. Also did new upper a arm control w/ ball joint. New lower ball joint and complete brake job. Rotors , calipers, pads and rubber lines. Busy weekend. But really like the ride with the sensatracs. Dave

were you having problems with the ball joints or brakes to go to all that expense?
