Default Rancho strut failing?

I put on a set of Rancho 5000 struts this spring. I now have a squeaking sound coming from my drivers side. The only place I can tell that is making the squeaking is the strut itself.

I don't know for sure how to test the strut without taking it out and removing the coil spring. It makes noise when I turn also. So that makes me think it is something other than the strut, but I can't find it.

With the TM spacers in there, I don't know if I take it to the dealer they will say it is not under the warranty since I have different struts and teh spacer. Anyone have to deal with this or have a squeaking noise ( who doesn't on these trucks) appear a while after putting on the 5000's?

I have the exact same thing but it started as soon as I put on the leveling kit and the ranchos, shop said the strut was put in wrong and it failed, now it's considered broke. Have a reputable suspension place (or 2) give you a free estimate of what's making the squeaks so you know for sure, then deal with it.

Mine were squeaking for the pass few weeks and was about to replace them because of it. I schedule with the dealership to replace them next week and now they stop squeaking. Strut work fine but was tired of the squeak. I think i'll wait till they acually go bad.

When my squeeked, it turned out to be ball joints both times. Under the truck I was guessing the strut, but it was actually coming from the lower ball joints.
