Default dakota seat belt alarm

I have a 05 dakota that the seat belt chime keeps going off even tho i have my seat belt fastened...anyone kno where the sensor for the seat belt is located so i can fix this annoying chime? I'd just disable it but the seat belt light never goes off so not able to go that route. thanks to anyone that can help with this.

If you check the connector running to the seat belt clip and everything is good, it is probably the internal switch inside the female end of the belt buckle. Personally, I would just take the wires going to the switch and wire them together to make the switch always hot. This will just trick the computer in to thinking the belt is always buckled.
