Haha, I may be too. Im reading some places that relays are sometimes necessary to use, but HIDextra is advertising 100% plug and play with no relay needed. So idk.
Either way I dont think the relay would hurt. Hopefully this way there is no possible way to start frying anything since the power will be taken straight off the battery.
you do absolutely need the relay with the hid extra kits. otherwise your lights will flash and act funny. i had one of their kits but took it back off. got tired of being flashed. but i did need the relay.
Does a re-aiming of the headlights help or is it just because our housings arent made for HIDs so it scatters the light instead of keeping it aimed at the road?
With our headlights you do have to reaim them.. A lot. Otherwise they'll be pointing directly in peoples windshields, like mine were for a week before I adjusted them. When I put regular bulbs in to get my brake tag, the beams were pointing at the ground and I had to put my brights on to see like regular headlights!
