Default New Tires, Crappy Pictures!

Didn't want to get in trouble for posting with no pictures so here is some crappy ones. New tires are 265/70/17! I plan on putting the trailmaster kit on the front so went ahead and got bigger tires. No rubbing so far. Wheels are the factory chrome clad 17s that are plasti-dip coated!

Well, the plastidip doesn't stick that well to the chrome wheels like I want. It stuck great on my silver 16" wheels. Back to chrome!

I would like to do something like that but these wheels have a plastic chromed cap
Over the actual aluminum wheel that would have to be removed before coating.

You may be best off just picking up a new set of black wheels. You can sell the chrome ones for a decent price .... in the end you will probably end up paying about the same price if you stuck money in to prepping and powder coating the chrome wheels vs just getting a new set.

I would buy a set in a heartbeat ..... If I didnt just stick almost $1000 in to tires for 16" rims. Lol. Maybe a set of Chome wheels with street tires would be pretty sweet though.

20" looks good with a leveling kit, IMO. You need to be able to get a large enough tire that wont rub in the front otherwise I think it looks funny in the rear wheel wells. Otherwise, a lowering of the rear should accomplish the same look

I'd like to find a set like yours. I'd rather have the chrome 17's than the 20's.
