I wasnt necessarily planning on it, just wanted to know if anyone had ever done this. It sounds like our truck wasnt bread for off-roading.......jease, did it really take this long for me to come to this conclusion?

So, on a side note: Shockwarehouse doesn't list the front rancho shocks for a 2006 Dak anymore....what else can go wrong?

You have to search for a 2005 Dakota...I know real stupid, but that's how I found them when I ordered a set.

http://www.shockwarehouse.com/RS5757...-Rancho-RS5000

I ordered from streetsideauto, $103 a piece.

Yes and No just search for
RS5757 for the front (strut)
and
RS5315 for the rear (shock)

Those 2 #'s are pretty much unique for the 2005-2006 Dakota and Raider

I hope those RS5000's from street side auto are for 2 shocks for $105
Those are the front struts at $103 a piece. Rear shocks, part # RS5315, are $50 a piece.

Best single mod I ever did to my truck, they are lightyears better than the orriginal shocks.
