how does one remove the air intake resonator?

If I remove the resonator, will it help with fuel millage if I swap it out to a reg 90??

that will not necessarily result in a mileage increase. There are still other restrictions in the stock system. Upgrade your filter to a K&N high flow or something like that, also think about replacing the restrictive air horn on the front of the filter box with a larger pipe. The easiest thing to do is buy a CAI, or you can make one yourself for a fraction of the price. Do some searches for homemade CAI.

Remove the bolt (10 mm) from the pass side. Disconnect the sensor, and pull up on the drivers side front. It just pops off. Then twist the whole thing as you pull it toward you. I would pull the dipstick out a little too. I just posted 10 mins ago on plugs for the 08 on. Get the Bosch plugs from a dealer. They are the only correct ones!! Most parts stores will give you Denso's, but they are the wrong heat range. Also, our plugs have a 1.04 inch reach, not .75 like the 07 and older! Part number is SPFR8TE2AA

I have a 2010 dodge ram 1500 4.7l im trying to remove the resanator box but i cant find the second screw on the driver side any ideas were that might be???
