Default how does one remove the air intake resonator?

I see the 10mm bolt on the passenger side front. The this that is confusing me is the rubber plug-thingy that is on the front, on the drivers side...I can't seem to figure out how to get it to release.

I want the resonator out of the way so I can change out the copper plugs. Any help would kick ***.

Mike.

I have mine removed but this should help

First you start out with your Intake
IMAG0221.jpg

Then you loosen the hose clamps (5/16 nut driver or socket) on the flexible air tube that runs from the filter box to the intake box. Then remove the flexible tube.

Use a 10mm socket and remove the bolt on the front passenger side of the intake. Its right in front of the hose opening you just removed. The rubber grommet stays in place with the intake.

Then on the drivers side front of the air box there is a second bolt. Use 10mm socket and remove the bolt. Rubber grommet stays in place with the intake.

Remove the air temp sensor. It is held in my a O-ring. Do not drop or bang this piece.
the sensor looks like this minus the wires being cut. (WARNING: DO NOT CUT THE WIRES TO REMOVE)

Its location is here in that 1/2" hole

Then all you need to do is slide the intake off of the throttle body.

The resonator is held the the throttle body with a clamp. Youll need a pliers to release it.

Thanks for the pictures but that's different than mine. I have on '08 with the new 4.7l and there is no second 10mm bolt on the passenger side. Instead there is a rubber grommet looking piece that I am afraid of breaking.
