If you bought a 2006, 2007, 2008 or 2009 Dodge after 7/26/2007 you received a lifetime powertrain warranty. I bought my 2007 Dakota as a left over on 1/31/2008. So, it was part of the deal.

well i guess since i bought mine 02/11/2007 mine is not covered! lol oh well...my pinion seal was replaced at 15K when my trans filter was replaced because it was causing codes for some pressure something or another with the transmission. so i'll keep an eye on it around 70K.
