Compressors from the other auto parts stores were the same story. Our front suspension isn't horribly complex to work on but it can definitely be a pain in the rear. I know some guys seemed to have a lot of trouble with the lower shock bolt, make sure to hit that with a bunch of PB Blaster the night before so it has time to soak in.
I borrowed spring compressors as well and they also didnt fit so I grabbed the crow bar and made it fit (the strut mountcap was still on so the spring couldn't shoot anywhere), then i used the impact and worked without any problems.

As for the lower shock bolt the passeger was no problem it came right out, but the drivers side took me like an hour to get out (bust out the torch.)

Other than that the rancho strut install and levelling kit install went pretty smoothly.

alright guys I got my struts installed instead of risking my life and fingers I pulled my struts out and took them to a shop to get the springs compressed and swapped. I payed about 75 bux s for both struts but it was better then the alternative and still cheaper then paying someone to do it all
