Hey guess after scanning through tons of pages last night I came to the realization that rancho's are the preferred strut choice but when I went online last night I could not find anywhere to buy then. What is the best place to order? Also are the monroe any good? I'm sure anything is better then stock but I still want the best for the dak

See I went there but I have an 07 quad cab 2wd and when I put in my make and modle with quad cab it doesn't let me choose anything above 04, and when I just do 2wd, the only front strut is the monroe ones

 

Per rancho's website you need the following part numbers:

RS5000 SERIES SHOCK Stock Front: RS5757
RS5000 SERIES SHOCK Stock Rear: RS5315

The RS5757 front strut is listed on Amazon for $106.09 each. I'm not sure why shockwarehouse does not list them.

From what I have read on here, Rancho's are a little stiffer than the Monroe's. I'm going with Monroe's because my truck is a road queen, so I don't need a really stiff shock.

 

You need to put 2005 in the year for your truck on most websites. Doesn't make sense, but try it and you'll see the RS5757 come up for the fronts when you put in 2005. And they will fit all 05-07 models, so don't worry.

Im returning a set of O2 sensors; all I lost was shipping both ways. Most places make you pay shipping along with a 10-30% restocking fee. Plus, the whole return process is all online, no need to sit on the phone on hold waiting for a return authorization number.

Alright thanks for the input.....is there a diff as far as quality between monroe and rancho? All I do is mainly street driving but I do construction so i am occasionally offroad. Just wondering what would be the besy buy for the money for my application

 

Actually nvm guys! Thanks for the link dakotaff. When I checked out the ranchos on that site I realized that they had a special going so I only paid 183 for two rancho rs5757
