I couldnt find it with the search; I look closer when I have some more time later. I swore I saw it in there. It was a whole procedure involving engaging the transmission several times. The problem was hard shifting in to drive and reverse, and it was for a shop so it had to have been that manual.

Alright, I found what I was talking about. Its a "Drive learn" but Im not sure if it will help or not.
Download the service manual. You will find the Drive Learn under Electronic Control Modules, and it starts on page 8e-183 and continues to 8e-185.

Sorry it took so long.

No problem. It looks like its supposed to be performed after a quick learn, but maybe a hard reset and the drive learn will do the trick?

I have a '07 SLT Auto as well. I check my tranny fluid at every oil change and it is full, but mine shifts like that every time. Has done it pretty much from day one, I'm not too worried about it.
