Default Need foglight help

I have a 2005 dakota that did not come with fog lights but does have the harnesses hanging down from the headlights. I bought some OEM fog lights for it and ordered the new headlight interior switch with the foglight option. These still dont turn on so what do i do now?

The wiring may be there but it may not have the relay for it, maybe check the Dakota service manual (listed in this 3rd gen section) and trace it to see if you have it

I also agree about the fuse, the spot will be there but might need a fuse added.

If thats not it, I agree with Paul

if it has the wire hanging down check to see and make sure a fuse is there...shouldn't need a flash i wouldn't think just make sure its all hooked up right and grounded and fused adn should be a GO.

Paul has the right info, you need the option turned on by the dealer

And I will agree with everyone, the dealer can turn them on. Shouldnt cost you more than 40-60 bucks to get them to flash it for you.
