Default New, Really NEW, tires

Well, I finally bought some new tires for my Dakota a couple weeks ago. Went to Discount Tire for the Falkens, but, of course, they didn't have my size in stock, nor could they get them right then, so I 'settled' for some Yokohama Geolanders for $10 less per tire plus a $40 rebate, so that's like $80 off...

Anyway, the first thing I notice is: These things are really sticky! Hardly any spin compared to the Goodyear tires that came with the truck, even when wet, which is really nice. I can hardly wait for ice/snow!

Yes, I did try to spin right after buying them. Little bit, but then, nothing. They grabbed and off I went.... Roughed the shine right off!

Yep. Wasn't really interested in street tires. Wanted something that had some grip in weather... The stock ones got me stuck in the snow too often. Once was too often. All Season tires, they aren't.

These, I should be able to get through the snow we're expecting.

Pictures? Oh, those... I suppose I can always wash the truck.... again....
