Default Just ordered 245/75/16 will that be a difference to 245/70/R16

Hey, I was trying to get BFG All Terrain P245/70/R16 but BFG is all out of stock and there was only P245/75/16. So he said its just about 3/4 inch taller and wont have any issue on the truck. So I ordered them.

So just wondering if someone can agree to this? Will this be an issue for 2005 Dodge Dakota? What will the difference be? He said just the mileage will change. Will this have an effect on the truck computer?

I have no tire knowledge.

Thats correct. The 245/75/16 is just about the same height as a 265/70/16 which is another stock size for the Dakota. I have the 265s on mine. You wont have any problems with that 245 size though, all that you will notice is that your speedo will be a little slow.

Awesome! Sounds good!! Thanks! Gives me more confidence in knowing that I just ordered them. It'll look nicer than the stock Good year Sr-A and adding an extra 3/4 inch.

I changed from 245-70-16 to 245-75-16 on my Mitsubishi Raider. It worked great!

I went from 245/60/16 to 265/75/16 and only have very minor rubbing at full turn. You should be fine.

Damn, hopefully the shop will do that for me. He said it wont rub so I'm going with his word.

I don't get the tires put on till next week so we will see.
