glad to see you are ok! there is a 50/50 chance they write it out as a total loss due to the airbags. but there is the other 50% chance that they wont, so dont loose your hope! on another note you can make some venison chilli and back straps while they fix your truck... good luck....

 

Well Its official, they totaled the truck. This sucks. I just dont know what i want to get. I did love the dak, but i am getin to where i need the bed capacity of a ram. Gotta figure out what i can afford first. Only time will tell.

 

ouch that really blows man. time to upgrade to a v8!

 

Buy it back and rebuild it! Besides the radiator support, it looks to be only cosmetic.

Man if the frame isn't badly damaged you can rebuild it make $.

 

Yeah, plus I could only think if the frame is hurt it would only be the replaceable octagonal sections that our models were boasted as having

 

The thought has crossed my mind, but it needs to be fixed PDQ. I dont have a spare. That, and (according to the insurance adjuster, it will cost over 14,000 to fix her. He said that fixin the airbags is 4000 alone. If i had the time and money, i darn shure would be doin that.

i found a 2007 and 2008 with the v8's and 4x4.

 

go with the 08 if ya do, more HP!!!

 

No doubt about it, if you get another dak get the 08. That makes a big difference in HP!
