STi's are over rated... they haven't gain a single hp since they came around in 2004. They are cool cars, but there is better out there for sure. Just my opinion though, don't mean to rain on your parade.

But back ON topic. I agree, the full size trucks are so f-ing huge. My father has an 08 F150 supercrew cab, 4wd and it's huge. I love my dakota. I love the size and the fact it comes with a decent little v8. I can't believe there isn't a bigger market for them with the size of the full size trucks these days. The dakota is almost how big full size trucks used to be.

That's what sold me on the Dakota when I was truck shopping. I also find it hard to believe there is not more of a market for these trucks.

Yeah 02 was the last year of the bug eye, that sti is an 04 or so thunder.

They hanlde good yeah, but they really aren't that fast stock, contrary to what most people believe. 305hp in an AWD car results in around 230 to the wheels. Not really impressive. The STi has had the same power output since 03 or 04. That's not too impressive. Do you know how many cars make 305 hp these days? You can buy a hyundia with that power. All the 'muscle' cars are making over 400hp now. I don't know, maybe it's just because in Vermont EVERYONE has to dirve a subaru. So maybe I've just gotten sick of them. I much rather have this...

Sorry, I know we've gotten off topic.

Hmm, don't know. You're probably right. I'm not an STi expert.

BUT......nothing beats the ground pounding sound of a V8......all you can do with a 4 banger is throw a fart can on it and run with the ricers.....lol
